# Query: Can AI provide search queries that customers are submitting to search engines to find products of their interest?

# Background: A major challenge for content marketers is to create content that ranks high in search engine rankings. For this to happen, the content must use keywords that match the search intent of their customers.

The content must be generic and trustworthy, and not a pitch for the company. It should work as a bait by providing relevant and useful information – information that answers customer queries and drives desired actions.

Such marketing is subtle and demonstrates how the services or products offered by companies solve pain points. The customers do not realise that they are browsing a promotional message.

This is where content marketers must first visualise search words that their customers will use. Then, they should weave these search queries in the content for the search engines to match and display.

# Experiment: The objective of the experiment was to find search words that potential customers may use to get information on 1.5 tonne split air conditioners. These search words would then be used by the content team of the air conditioner company to write an article for being published on the web.

To be ranked high on the search engine results page, the article should second guess the prospective customer, provide the right answers and also meet search engine needs.

A prompt was created with the specific intention of finding search queries that potential customers would use to purchase a 1.5 tonne split air conditioner. This was then submitted to Gemini and to ChatGPT.

The response of the two leading AI engines and my findings are given below.

# Prompt 1: Create a list of possible search queries for Indian users seeking information on purchasing [1.5 tonne split air conditioners].

My Verdict: Both Gemini and ChatGPT can be depended upon to generate search queries. Content writers don’t have to struggle to find them. Companies can avoid subscribing to keyword generators.
