Social Media platforms may be the hubs or beehives of human activity, but they are also the graveyards of the get-noticed-quickly hopes of many who flood these platforms with their media posts. They stumble when it comes to deciding content length or posting frequency.
As Internet Guru Neil Patel, in his blogpost titled The Ideal Content-Length and Posting Frequency Per Social Network” reveals “… if 1.1 billion pieces of content are being published daily, over 653 million of them got no likes, no comments, no shares… in essence no engagement.”
Is this a surprise? No.
There is more trash on Social Media platforms than quality content. The result: Quantity is getting trumped by quality.

To come to this conclusion, Neil Patel and his team analysed a staggering 5,204,391 social media posts over a 30-day period.
The study also answers two more questions that every Social Media wannabe wants to know: one, what should be the ideal length of a post and two, what is the ideal posting frequency?
