Find out the exciting developments that happened in the Social Media universe in the week that went past. These changes can change the way you use Social Media.

Mute those tweets you dislike

You don’t have to suffer tweets that you don’t want. Twitter has launched a new feature called Mute for people who use iPhone and Android apps.

Explains Twitter: Muting a user on Twitter means their Tweets and Retweets will no longer be visible in your home timeline, and you will no longer receive push or SMS notifications from that user.”

The best is that the muted user will not know that you have muted him. So, you will be saved the charge of being rude.

The mute function can be activated easily. All that you need to do is to tap more on your phone’s twitter applciatin, and then mute @username.
