Find out what you posted on Facebook On this Day

What did you post on your Facebook Timeline this day one year ago? Two years ago? Five years ago?

You have to have a memory like an elephant to remember.

Happily, Facebook has decided to let you see what you posted On This Day a year ago.

Status updates, photographs, posts from friends and other things you’ve shared or been tagged in on that day will become visible to you once again, Facebook announced on March 24.

All that you need to do is to click on the On This Day bookmark, search for “On This Day,” or visit facebook.com/onthisday.

It will not only bring memories rushing back but you can also share all these photographs and updates with your friends.

According to Facebook, you can:

This audience need not be limited to the original audience of the post. You can enlarge the audience, and take it to new fans and followers.

What’s more, you can edit or delete old posts that you don’t like.

Facebook is making sure that only you can see what happened on your Facebook page one year ago, unless you choose to share it.

To make sure that you don’t miss out, you need to subscribe to memory alerts. Says Facebook’s Product Manager, “Once on the page, you can choose to subscribe to notifications so you’ll be alerted when you have memories to look back on.”

Nothing can be more cool.

The only catch: Facebook is rolling out On This Day feature in phases. You will have to wait for your turn to log on to it.
