There is no definitive list of the most popular prompt formats used to query information from AI applications.  Every minute hundreds of queries are posed to the AI tools; some elicit good response while the others are off the point.

But here’s a list of 21 popular prompt formats that can deliver awesome results.

1. Question-Answer Format: In this prompt format users ask questions, and AI applications provide answers.

Example 1: “Who is the first Prime Minster of India?”
Example 2: “How does El Nino affect weather patterns?”

2. Prompt-Completion Format: In this format users provide a prompt, and AI applications complete the text based on the given prompt.

Example 1: “Once upon a time, there was a…”
