Easy Media has been set up by Sunil Saxena, a Media Consultant, who has over three decades of experience in Print, New Media, Media Research and Journalism Education.
Sunil’s last position was Dean of the International Media Institute of India, where he taught Social Media and New Media.
Earlier, Sunil was the Senior Vice President (New Media), Indo-Asian News Service, and before that he was the Vice President of Express Network Private Limted. In that position, he set up twelve websites in five languages for The New Indian Express Group, and launched the Group’s online information and research service.
As a print journalist, he has held key positions in leading Indian newspapers (The Times of India, The New Indian Express, The Pioneer) and magazines (India Today, India Week).
He was the first Dean of the Asian College of Journalism, when it was based in Bangalore, and has had two stints with The Times School of Journalism.
He has authored two books — Breaking News and Headline Writing. Both the books are recommended texts in most Indian universities.
As a researcher, he has conducted a study on the state of media in Malawi.
